Muscle Shoals Music Marketing houses: MSMM Recording / MSMM Publishing / Hit Capital Publishing
Muscle Shoals Music Marketing opened its doors in 1994. It
is home to MSMM Recording, MSMM Publishing (BMI) and Hit
Capital Publishing (ASCAP). It was originally located on
North Main Street in Tuscumbia, Alabama, where it remained
for over a decade. The cities of Tuscumbia, Muscle Shoals,
Sheffield & Florence make up what is known in the music
industry as the home of the "Muscle Shoals Sound' where
many hit records were recorded in the 1960's through the
1980's.
The Muscle Shoals music industry has made a strong 'comeback'
in recent years and is continuing to rise. In 2005 Engineer
& Co-Owner Donnie Gullett
moved the studio from its commercial facility on North Main
Street to his home on East 3rd Street in Tuscumbia where it
is currently located.
The studio consists of a large 300+
square foot Control Room, a 12' X 12' Drum Booth and an 8' X
8' Vocal Booth, as well as other areas where we use portable partitions. We can
easily accommodate a four or five piece band and have recorded up to a seven
piece band...all on the floor at once. We offer both hourly & flat rate
sessions as well as full custom sessions to fit your needs.
MSMM is co-owned by Donnie and his wife Jan Grant Gullett,
along with his brother Mike Gullett
