Muscle Shoals Music Marketing opened its doors in 1994. It was originally located on North Main Street in Tuscumbia, Alabama, where it remained for over a decade. The cities of Tuscumbia, Muscle Shoals, Sheffield & Florence make up what is known in the music industry as the home of the "Muscle Shoals Sound' where many hit records were recorded in the 1960's through the 1980's. The area has been making a 'comeback' of sorts in recent years. In 2005 Engineer & Co-Owner Donnie Gullett moved the studio from its commercial facility on North Main Street to his home on East 3rd Street in Tuscumbia where it is currently located. The studio consists of a large 22' X 14' control room, a 12' X 12' recording booth with a drum partition and an 8' X 8' recording booth. We can record up to 18 tracks simultaneously and offer up to 4 headphone mixes. We can easily accomodate a four or five piece band and have recorded up to a seven piece band...all on the floor at once.
